Q.  How often should I have my car detailed?             

A.  Detailing frequency is generally determined by ( 1 ) the climate, ( 2 ) your car's exterior color, and ( 3 ) how often you wash the vehicle. We recommend that you have your car detailed a minimum of 3 times per year for adequate maintenance. Some darker colored cars should be detailed more often.

Q.  I own a brand new car and it's perfect. Why would I need it detailed?

A.  Car dealerships rarely wax new cars, and we've never heard of one that specially treats and protects leather interiors. Performing both these procedures is important in steering your new vehicle in the right direction.  That is why Your Place Or Mine is very first stop for many of our customer’s new cars.

Q.  My car is leased, should I have it detailed?

A.  Definitely, the better your car's appearance and condition, the better trade value you will get on your car, and the less they will charge you for reconditioning the car.

Q.  Can you provide a weekly service or a complete car care program?

A.  Yes - we offer several services for scheduled details. Please e-mail us for more information.

Q.  Can you detail my car while I am at work?

A.  Yes we can.  Our working hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. We will stay beyond 5:00 p.m. on occasions with prior arrangements.

 

Q. Do you make house calls?

A.  Yes, please contact us to see if we service your area. 

Q.  What products do you use?

A.  We use all Meguiars professional grade products and cleaners. 

Q.  Is there an extra charge for larger and/or exotic vehicles?

A.  Yes - prices are slightly higher for larger cars, trucks and SUV's or cars requiring substantial attention. Please call or e-mail us for a free estimate.

Q.  Do you detail Planes or Motor Coaches?

A.  Yes we do boats, planes, motor coaches enclosed trailers and motorcycles.  Call or e-mail us for details.

Q.  What if it rains on my appointment day?

A.  We will reschedule your appointment based on your schedule.
